Questions before changing telehealth providers
Compare the care experience as well as the advertised offer. A new provider needs to assess your history; switching platforms does not automatically transfer a prescription or treatment plan.

Preparing to launch. Care, payment and booking are not available yet. Partnerships, coverage, pricing and service details are being finalized.
What should I compare first?
Start with your reason for considering a change: communication, clarity, follow-up or the overall experience. Ask each practice how it handles those specific needs rather than relying on a broad promise of personalized care.
Will another practice accept my existing prescription?
Not automatically. Ask how the new practice reviews records, recent labs and current treatment, and whether a new evaluation is needed. The treating clinician independently determines whether to recommend any treatment.
How should I plan continuity of care?
Discuss timing and treatment questions with your current clinician before changing care arrangements. Ask the new practice what records it needs and when it can complete its assessment. Do not assume that registering interest reserves a visit or guarantees a refill.
What communication details should I confirm?
Ask who handles administrative questions, how to reach the clinical team, how concerns are escalated and what follow-up includes. Confirm response expectations with the responsible practice.
What should I check before committing?
Review the full evaluation process, required testing, recurring terms and how records can be transferred securely. Keep medical details out of Synergy’s public interest form; use the practice’s approved clinical intake.
