Preparing for your first hormone-health consultation

A first consultation is a chance to explain your concerns and understand the clinician’s assessment. Preparing a few notes and questions can make the conversation easier to follow.

Preparing to launch. Care, payment and booking are not available yet. Partnerships, coverage, pricing and service details are being finalized.

Write down what you want to discuss

Prepare notes about your concerns, when they began, how they affect daily life and what you hope to understand. Bring questions about the evaluation rather than assuming hormone therapy will be the outcome. The clinician determines whether treatment or further assessment is appropriate.

Gather the information the practice requests

Have your medication and supplement list, relevant personal and family health history, previous treatments and available results ready for the practice’s secure intake. Ask what records would be helpful and how to share them securely. Do not email records or enter them in Synergy’s public interest form.

Ask how the evaluation will work

Confirm who provides the consultation, their credentials, state availability and whether a live visit is needed. Ask what the evaluation includes, whether testing may be recommended and how results will be discussed. Testing requirements are decided by the clinician; a fixed test panel is not promised.

Discuss choices and follow-up

Ask the clinician to explain the options they consider appropriate, the reasons for their recommendation and the benefits, risks and alternatives relevant to you. Clarify follow-up, how to contact the practice with concerns and any requirements for prescription renewals. This guide does not recommend a particular treatment.

Confirm all charges and access terms

Ask about the initial consultation, routine and additional follow-ups, testing, medication, shipping and any recurring management charge. Confirm what messaging includes, whether membership is optional and the cancellation terms. Synergy’s final patient pricing and benefits will be published before enrollment.
