Planning a TRT evaluation: process, costs and follow-up

Testosterone replacement therapy (TRT) starts with an individual clinical evaluation. Here is what to clarify as you explore Synergy’s planned men’s health offering.

By Synergy Care Connect · Prelaunch service information. This guide explains coordination and purchasing questions; it does not determine whether TRT is right for you.

1. Register interest while we prepare to launch

You can choose men’s hormone health and your state on our interest form. Registration is free. It does not book an appointment, create a clinician-patient relationship or guarantee a prescription. We are still confirming provider partnerships and coverage.

2. Confirm the clinician and evaluation process

Before booking when care becomes available, confirm the clinician’s identity, availability in your state, visit format and evaluation fee. An independent licensed clinician will decide whether testing or treatment is appropriate. Synergy’s role is technology and nonclinical coordination.

3. Ask what lab services include

Ask whether the price includes ordering tests, the actual laboratory testing and interpretation of the results. These are different services. Confirm where testing will take place, who receives results and whether any additional testing would have a separate charge.

4. Review the complete cost before paying

Ask for an itemized explanation of the evaluation, follow-up visits, laboratory testing, medication, supplies and shipping, where applicable. Confirm any recurring charges, cancellation terms and what happens if the clinician does not recommend treatment. Final patient pricing and inclusions are not yet published.

5. Understand ongoing care

If a clinician recommends treatment, ask about the follow-up schedule, testing, messaging, prescription renewals and how to report concerns. The treating clinician determines the clinical plan. Do not assume a membership or a prescription automatically includes every future visit, lab or medication.
